The Warmth Beyond the Sun.

June 2025

To kick off June, the projectUmbrella Phoenix team distributed 100 care packages—each filled with hygiene essentials and summer needs—alongside warm penne bolognese generously donated by Gaetano Cacace of Arrivederci Italian Ristorante. To-go containers were graciously provided by Erik Yee at Kyoto in Scottsdale, helping us serve our unhoused neighbors across the Phoenix metro area with dignity and care. The afternoon was filled with shared meals, meaningful conversations, and moments that reminded us of our shared humanity.

We’re deeply grateful for our newest volunteers—Veronica, Alyssa, and Vince—whose kindness and dedication helped make this day of service so impactful.

As always, we remain humbled to serve and are continually inspired by the strength and stories of those we meet. Every act of care brings us one step closer to a more compassionate future.

The afternoon was filled with connection, care, and reminders of our shared humanity.

We’re incredibly thankful for our amazing new volunteers—Emilie, Ryan, and Sandra—whose presence and compassion made this day of service even more meaningful.

As always, we remain humbled to serve and inspired by the resilience of those we meet. Together, we move closer to building a more compassionate future.

To close out March, the projectUmbrella Phoenix team was honored to distribute 100 care packages—each filled with hygiene kits from The Giving Project-Staten Island, seasonal essentials, pizza, chips, bananas, and water—to our houseless neighbors across the Phoenix metro area. This event gave us the opportunity to connect through stories, laughter, and shared humanity.

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing new volunteers, Dominic, Jake, and Tiffany, as well as our generous sponsor, Costco, for making this meaningful day of service possible.

This holiday season, the projectUmbrella Phoenix team was honored to distribute 75 seasonal care packages and warm fried rice meals to our houseless neighbors across the Phoenix metro area. So Much To Be Thankful For!

For our Thanksgiving launch event, the ProjectUmbrella Phoenix team was humbled to distribute 40 seasonal care packages and warm Thanksgiving meals to our houseless neighbors in the Phoenix metro area. This significant event marked our first event post-expansion, allowing us to connect with extraordinary individuals and hear their inspiring stories of resilience and strength.
