February 2026

For our February Phoenix distribution, the projectUmbrella team came together to serve 300 meals and care packages to our unhoused neighbors. This month, meals were generously prepared by Arrivederci Ristorante in Scottsdale, with penne Arrabbiata and chicken shared throughout the community. The day reflected our continued commitment to compassion, connection, and showing up consistently.

With the ongoing dedication of our volunteers, we were reminded that impact is built through steady effort and intentional presence. Conversations unfolded naturally, and care packages once again served as icebreakers, opening space for dignity and human connection.

Each distribution reinforces that this work extends beyond a single day. We are grateful for every volunteer and partner who stands with us and helps carry this mission forward.

For our October Phoenix event, the projectUmbrella team came together to distribute 150 care packages and share fresh pizza from our friends at Rihana’s Pizza with our unhoused neighbors. The afternoon was filled with smiles, stories, and heartfelt reminders of how powerful small acts of connection can be.

We’re especially grateful to AZ Dental Club for once again donating dental hygiene kits—complete with toothpaste, toothbrushes, and floss—and to our newest volunteers Chuck, Eileen, JoVi, and Stephanie for joining the team and helping make the day possible.

This September, the projectUmbrella Phoenix team distributed 150 care packages—each containing hygiene items and daily essentials—alongside resource cards and warm chicken fried rice, generously provided by our friends at Kyoto Scottsdale. The afternoon was filled with meaningful moments: meals shared, stories exchanged, and reminders of the dignity and connection at the heart of our mission.

We’re especially thankful for our newest volunteers—Dan and Colt from Precision Medical, Mason, Nick, Winston, and Dalia—who generously donated their time and compassion to make this day of service possible. Dalia also coordinated a donation of dental hygiene kits through her office, AZ Dental Club, further extending the day's impact.
