Thanksgiving: The projectUmbrella Way!
Fall 2022
For this Fall’s event, the projectUmbrella Seattle team wanted to recognize our houseless neighbors who may not be able to have a meal during the holidays. In light of the season of giving, our team delivered over 400 handcrafted PB&J sandwiches and water bottles along with our seasonal care packages to the tent city organization near the University of Washington. We hope that we were able to make a positive impact and inspire others to spread the joy of giving. As always, we would like to give a huge thank you to our donors, both corporate and personal; especially CVS Pharmacy for their continued support of our mission. To donate and further support our mission, please visit the link on our profile! Happy Thanksgiving!
As always, we are very blessed to have the privilege to give back to our homeless communities! We hope to create a positive movement and help inspire others to do the same!

Further Connecting with our Homeless Community
Winter 2022
This Winter, we plan to hand our bags to our homeless neighbors for the third time since expanding projectUmbrella to Seattle! We intend to spark more meaningful conversations in order to feel with our homeless community on a deeper level. Since our last event, we have been able to expand our regional radius, giving us the ability to positively impact more peoples' lives. Our team was able to adjust and strictly follow the updated CDC recommended guidelines in order to assure everyone’s safety. All members and volunteers have been completely vaccinated and boosted. We have also included items such as hand sanitizer and KN95 masks within our bags to continue to promote COVID-19 safety precautions.

Handing out bags to the homeless:
COVID Safe Style, Once Again!
Fall 2021
This Fall, we plan to hand our bags to our homeless neighbors for the second time since expanding projectUmbrella to Seattle! We intend to meet our homeless communities in many diverse suburban areas within the Greater Seattle Area. We recently expanded our boundaries and hope to positively impact the homeless crisis in Downtown Seattle, International District, Capitol Hill, and University District. This day of giving was very special as we introduced new volunteers who came along for the first time, Mazen Sibai and Tom Jubin. Our team was able to adjust and strictly follow the updated CDC recommended guidelines in order to assure everyone’s safety. All members and volunteers have been completely vaccinated and wore face coverings. We have also included items such as hand sanitizer and KN95 masks within our bags in order to promote COVID-19 safety precautions.
We are very thankful to have the privilege to give back at a time where our homeless communities need it most! We hope to have a great turnout amidst the pandemic!

Handing out bags to the homeless:
COVID Safe Style!
Spring 2021
This Spring, we plan to hand out bags to our homeless neighbors near U-District, Downtown Seattle, and "The Ave," while following official CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone. This will not be an ordinary day of giving as many precautions from the past have changed due to COVID-19. The projectUmbrella team plans on strictly following social distancing rules along with wearing KN95 masks at all times and receiving negative COVID-19 tests results prior to distribution. This year we have also included a KN95 mask and a set of surgical masks in our bags!
