Today, we gave a bag to James, a recovering alcoholic who was 7 days post-detox when we spoke to him. James comes from a family of chefs and says he can cook up the best seafood in the city! He unfortunately had to leave his job after losing his home and is currently battling for custody of James Jr., his son. He has a great sense of humor and told us of a story where he once danced and sang Jingle Bells with a Salvation Army volunteer to help earn money. They ended up earning over 400 dollars that day... and James didn't take anything from it, saying he'd rather give back to the people that may need it more. We hope you liked your bag, James!
