Rami Sibai is the Co-Founder and Director of projectUmbrella, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rehumanizing and supporting people experiencing housing instability through care packages, warm meals, and meaningful conversation.

Originally founded in New York City, projectUmbrella has grown to serve communities across multiple cities, including Phoenix, Seattle, and Austin. Under Rami’s leadership, the organization has expanded its outreach, built partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, and created opportunities for volunteers to connect directly with the people they serve.

A graduate of the University of Washington, Rami has helped grow projectUmbrella from a grassroots effort into a multi-city organization centered on dignity, connection, and community.

Through projectUmbrella, Rami continues to challenge stigma around housing instability, strengthen community partnerships, and create a larger table where everyone has a place.
